Studio 111 comes to Brighton

Studio 111 was created by British actress, director and teacher Sally Spencer-Harris after noticing the need for an intensive, part-time Screen Acting School in Auckland, New Zealand. Auckland is a ‘Screen Based’ City. There is not so much theatre there so all auditions tend to be filmed and most good roles come up in film and television. Here in the UK the situation is not dissimilar with very little specific film acting training for the student of acting.
Film Acting Classes
Independent filmmaker Jan Dunn has won many film awards including a British Independent Film Award for her first feature, Gypo, released in UK cinemas by Lionsgate Films and many other international film awards. She will be hosting the first UK Studio 111 screen acting courses.

Jan originally trained as an actress herself and worked for a decade as an actress before she began writing and directing films in the 1990s. She has made three feature films to date with A-List UK casts including Bob Hoskins, Brenda Blethyn, Paul McGann and Pauline McLynn to mention just some of the actors with whom Jan has worked.
