Friends Meeting House Garden, Ship Street
Join Feminist Brighton for an afternoon of tea and cakes, live music and games, raising money for the Poppy Project.
They are holding an afternoon tea party in the garden of the Friends Meeting House, raising money for the Poppy Project, a women-run service in London supporting victims of trafficking. Their funding has been cut by the Ministry of Justice. All profits from this event will go to the Poppy Project, and they hope it will raise some awareness of the devastating effect of these cuts on women’s services.
Tickets cost £5 and include: homemade cake, and tea, an afternoon of entertainments including the We-Bop choir, Graham Pembrey (solo acoustic), and lots more. There will be traditional garden party games and a massage stall.
