TAKE PART FESTIVAL
20 June – 5 July 2015
Discover free or discounted ‘have a go sessions’ in a huge range of sport, dance and activities across the city. Join in a programme of after work events, competitions and challenges with your colleagues.
Activities include beginner–friendly competitions in Ultimate Frisbee, Raft Racing, Rounders and more. There are events and activities suitable for disabled people and adults with learning disabilities, including the Best of Health Event on 25 June from 10am-3pm at the King Alfred Leisure Centre in Hove.
Special Events include Active Forever on 30 June from 10am-1pm at the King Alfred Leisure Centre, which will cover free activities to keep you healthy into older age. There’ll be demos, information stalls and free refreshments. Preston Park Launch Event for the whole family on 20 June from noon to 5pm.
Be inspired to take up something new. Paddle Round the Pier, the country’s largest free beach festival on Sat & Sun 4 & 5 July.

COUNCIL COMMUNITY SAFETY TEAM DROP IN
Brighton & Hove City Council’s Community Safety Team will be delivering a drop-in service from the Disability Advice Centre, Montague House, Somerset Street, Brighton BN2 1JE, from 3 September.
They will be there on the first Tuesday of every month between 1 – 4pm. This is for anyone who has anything they would like to discuss with the team or for anyone who feels they have experienced anti-social behaviour or a hate crime.
