Do you have a lived experience of disability, or care for someone who does? Do you want to have your voice heard, helping to improve services in West Hill, and across the city?
Then come and join The Get Involved Group (GIG) at The Fed Centre for Independent Living. The GIG, a user-led group, brings together Brighton and Hove residents to share experiences and have their voices heard on issues that directly affect them and help to plan the solutions.
You can get involved by:
- Joining the mailing list to receive GIG updates and meeting info
- Attending our meetings (every 6 weeks in central Brighton)
- Following our Blog / Twitter/ Facebook
- Giving us a call on 01273-208934
“An excellent meeting, where I learnt a lot about how people are dealing with their disability and how to raise awareness about mobility and citywide issues.”
Our next meeting is on Friday 18th December, 2-5pm – our Christmas party! To RSVP and to find out more, contact Lilly at lilly.storey@thefedonline.org.uk / 01273-208934. We may be able to provide transport.
