On 23 February between 2pm and 5pm, ‘Plastic-free Prestonville’ takes place at Exeter Street Hall. The event is a mix of stalls, speakers, activities and a café. There are plenty of inspiring ideas to help people think about what they can do to make a difference; how to reuse, recycle and reduce plastic.
Speakers include Atlanta Cook from the Marine Conservation Society; Sophie from Lush in Brighton; Ruth from Hisbe; Jo from Ruby Moon Swimwear. Stalls include Surfers Against Sewage; Brighton Milk; and Charlotte’s Cupboard (delivering plastic-free goodies). There will be bath bomb making for children (or anyone) with Lush.
Everyone is welcome – not just the good people of Prestonville!
