The Friends of St Michael’s welcome the award-winning soprano Nadine Benjamin accompanied by pianist Andrew Robinson on Friday 27 September 2019.
You may have seen Nadine at the proms or heard her with the ENO (Porgy and Bess, La Bohème) and now she is coming to St Michael’s to sing and talk about her unusual career so far. We are absolutely delighted she is doing this for us and hope you will want to there.

She will be singing and talking about her exciting journey to becoming a successful Opera singer and her role as founder of ‘Everybody Can’ a platform to encourage
others to believe in themselves. The charismatic singer, renowned for her performance on the operatic stage and the concert platform, will be singing arias by
Verdi and Puccini as well as performing songs from the American song book.
Nadine is an English National Opera Harewood Artist who made her debut with the Company as Clara in Porgy and Bess and Musetta in La Boheme.
The Friends of Saint Michael’s is a secular, not for profit group and part of our remit is to extend the use of the church for community activities and to help with the conservation of this Grade I listed building.
