Should we rename the 7 Dials as there are now at least 7 cafés on or around the Dials? It is ironic, that although Brighton is on the coast, we have a very high pollution problem. Outside London, Brighton & Hove has, apparently, the highest number of eateries per head of population. Many are situated in areas of high traffic. Despite the toxic fuel problem, people sit outside eating and drinking and inhaling toxic fumes. Having lost my very talented, youngish wife to respiratory problems, I wonder if people even consider what they breathe in – leading to possible problems later in life, particularly for children. We do have many cafés in parks around Brighton. Think on! Think about your future health!
