Used batteries and used energy-saving light bulbs contain potentially hazardous chemicals which must be disposed of carefully and cannot be put into general waste containers. Due to the lack of facilities in the Seven Dials area for the collection of these items there is now a lidded white bucket at 9 Bath Street for this purpose. No car batteries or strip lights please!
