If you’ve been thinking about getting online but don’t know where to start then the Council Connect sessions are a good place to start. From sending your first email to paying your first bill, volunteers are on hand to show you how it’s done. Contact your local library to find out about your nearest session.

OLDER PEOPLE’S COUNCIL

Established in 2001 the OPC works to ensure that all older people in Brighton & Hove are treated with respect and have access to services and support to lead fulfilling lives. To be able to vote for the OPC and to stand for election to the OPC you need to be 60 or over. Public meetings are held at the Jubilee Library from 10.15am to 1pm. The next meeting is on 17 September 2013 and Dr Peter Wilkinson, the Deputy Director of Public Heath will discuss the Public Health priorities for Older People in Brighton and Hove. Refreshments are provided.
