As part of Brighton & Hove Open Door, Alexia Lazou will be leading her Aubrey Beardsley tour on Sundays 15 & 22 September at 11am. Meet outside WH Smith’s bookshop on Brighton Station concourse, Queens Road. The tour is free and there is no need to book. Join Alexia for a gentle 90-minute stroll through Brighton, exploring the buildings and places associated with the early life of artist Aubrey Beardsley (1872-1898). Born in Buckingham Road, he was famous for his innovative black and white illustrations. The tour concludes with an optional visit to The Yellow Book café/bar on York Place.
