There is a marvellous exhibition at Brighton Museum until 6 September. The world-renowned exhibition features 100 awe-inspiring photographs. From the majesty of a pride of lions to the tiniest of spiders, the images show nature in its most elemental and challenge our perceptions of the world of wildlife. Research has shown that mindfulness practised regularly can help with a range of physical and emotional difficulties including stress, pain, anxiety and depression. The National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) recommends Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) as a treatment within the NHS. MBCT aims to bring about a different way of relating to our experience, especially difficult experiences, through mindfulness practices in order to help us see more clearly how best to respond.
